No indication for CT head, but clinical
suspicion of c-spine injury

Suspected chest injury

As part of primary survey
 

Chest X-ray
 
 

If penetrating injury or abnormality
on Chest X-ray
 

CT chest
 
 

If multisystem trauma or presence of:
  lap belt injury
  abdominal wall ecchymosis
  abdominal tenderness
  abdominal distension
  Persistent hypovolaemia
  PR or NG blood

Any of the above
